I have been working on getting the approved army lists' stats and rules into the miniwars content management system. I'm at the point where I could use a fistful of proofers to go over the PDFs I'm generating. PM me if you're interested and let me know which couple of lists you'd like.
As some background... the TP and ALC suck to maintain. Stats are duplicated everywhere and when one's wrong or needs to be changed it means finding and changing them all one at a time. With the stats and special rules in a CMS it gives us a couple of advantages:
- No duplication - change a weapon/unit stat once and the change goes to every list
- I can now generate a PDF for the TP as well as put the entire TP online as a mobile friendly website
- I can generate PDFs (and web pages) for every army list and its units
- A separate FAQ PDF and web page can now be generated
I'll be working on the FAQ next as the feedback comes in. I'm hoping to have things ready by June. After that, we'll see about getting the dev lists into the CMS to start generating the ALC like this.
