Yeah actually that's a really good idea. Sort of an Imperator class/megagargant sized unit for the Necron. Very slow, heavily armoured mobile fortress and with some impressive firepower (Death Star anyone? }:) ) the best way to take down such a beast could be by assaulting it with infantry.

+ It would look pretty cool on the battlefield of course!

*evil necron laugh* ...then it would just float over the troops waving bayonets at it and land on top of them... squashing a formation with what is basically a floating pyramid would be quite an effective way to kill them I'd imagine...  :p

AARGH! Good point! I hadn't really thought of that; -Never make me general in a real life army (well not one fighting against Necrons anyway) :p  Well perhaps jump pack equipped infantry then. Most armies seem to have some sort of those. Teleporting units like terminators perhaps? It would make some pretty sweet scenarios anyway.
