To the best of my knowledge no manufacturers currently produce 6mm terrain for Tau. Does anyone know of any?

Not that i am aware of but check out Angel Barracks OKI buildings, i will be useing at least some of this stuff for Tau pre-fabricated military structures.

Old Crow, JR Minis, and Angel Barracks all produce some buildings that have a Hi-SciFi look to them and are good fits for Tau buildings. Paint them the right colors and add the requisite symbols and you're set

Old Crow had a bunch that would work well with Epic Tau ... and they are 6mm ...

That generator is 9cm long so a bit large than what you're expecting but I personally like my terrain with a few large center pieces and lots if little stuff thrown in around them. I'd use them if I had Tau myself.

Definitely the most "Tau" looking structures I've seen.

It would be nice to see them with some epic figs for size comparison.
