Wow, that looks extremly intense! Great terrain and armies!

Thanks for the pictures too :)

Btw: do you have some info on the played scenarios/battles? Would be great to read about the actual aims of each battlegroup.
Thx

Good to see someone got a pic of the titan table before they were divvied out. Unfortunately my nurgle reaver fell to bits in transit, into more parts can could be quickly repaired.

Should have more photos up end of today/tomorrow.

We had a primarch v. primarch duel on the palace table. Dorn air assaulted Angron's formation andSimon sportingly suggested the two primrachs should go toe to toe while their respective terminator body guards dealt with each other. This ended well for Angron as he had 3 MW2+ close combat attacks. Skewering Dorn made up for Angron's attempted attack on a warlord titan misfiring at the start of the turn, a strategy roll of 1 allowing his intended target to step back and shoot him in the face with a volcano cannon. Motarian was on the board from the start, leading a vast block of Death Guard and Iron Warriors from a plague tower. Sanguinius was the only Primarch to see no action, teleporting onto the palace walls in turn 3, surrounded by overwatch allies.

The rest of the World Eaters legion fared less well, mounted berserker formations taking extreme casualties in turn 3 and the drop pod assault formations all breaking after engagements with large amounts of Imperial supporting fire in turn 2.

If you go on page 7 or 8 of this thread the scenario guidelines/rules can be found there.

The imperial forces on the command table fell so quickly you'd be forgiven for thinking they'd been offered a back hander by horus himself :)

This is the dying moments of the game, the sole remaining blood angels terminators make their final stand:

(there were some other imperials just out of shot, but it didn't amount to much more than a handful of devs and a rhino!)

epic game! Thanks to Steve for organising, thanks to Apocoistlisy..Ap.. I give up trying to type your name(!).. for the terrain and thanks to Dreamlike gaming for the venue to play at.

:)
