Ok, played a 3000p battle with my AM Skitari yesterday. They where up aginast Codex Marines.

TURN 1: SM wins initiative.

SM Thunderbolts go on CAP.

AM Avengers go on CAP.

SM Warhound 1 doubles into forest and shoots at garrisoned crusaders, manage to kill 2. Formation not broken because of Automation rule.

Skitari demi-century next to AM Blitz goes on OW.

SM BTS double moves forward.

Minoris sustain and fires Barrage suport missile on Predators, only 4 BM.

SM Warhound 2 advances and fires on garrisoned Sagitariis on the right flank. Sagitarii shoots with OW fire, 1 wound on Warhound. Warhound kills 1 rapier and 1 Sagitarii stand.

Predators Marshalls and moves forwardnest to ruin behind scouts

Avengers ground attack SM Warhound 2 on right flank. Thunderbolts CAP. Sagitarii Hydra kills 1 Thunderbolt, Collosus AA kills the other one (Ha ha!). Avengers puts BM on Warhound which breaks and and falls back behind forest on the right flank.

Collosus formation on the left flank double moves and fires on SM Scouts, 1 BM.

SM Thunder bolts stand down.

Garrisoned crusaders marshall and move into formation.

AM Warhound 1 doubles forward and shoots on scouts. Scouts OW-fire gives it 1 BM. Warhound 1 kills 2 scouts and 1 rhino.

AM Warhound 2 doubles and moves next to SM BTS. Shoots and kills 1 rhino.

Crusaders double move forward and fires at scouts, scouts break and falls bavk toward the left flank behind cover of the huge hill.

collosus moves forwardon right flank.

END PHASE: Both SM Warhound and Scouts rally.

TURN 2: SM wins iniotiative.

SM BTS Sustains on AM Warhound 2, strips both shields and 1 BM.

SM Warhound 1 retains and engages AM Warhound 2. With help of supporting fire from SM BTS the AM Warhound is killed.

Crusaders Hold and move forward.

Predators advances forward and shoots on Crusaders. They kill 3 of them and the formation breaks.

AM Avengers stand down.

SM Warhound 2 holds and move forward.

AM Avengers go on CAP.

SM scouts Marshall with the help of SC.

Minoris advances forward and fires on SM Warhound 1. Only manages 1 BM.

SM Thunderbolts stand down (again!)

Collosus on left flank double moves in front of predators and fires on them, 1 BM.

Collosus double moves toward SM Warhound 1 and fires at it. They score 1 damage and break the titan.

AM Warhound 1 doubles right next to predators and fire on them, kills 1 predator.


Sagitariis goes on OW.

END PHASE: All formations rally (Both Crusaders and SM Warhound)

Terminators teleport in behind the woods on the right flank thats filled with OW-Sagitariis.

TURN 3: SM wins initiative.

SM Warhound 2 advances in front of Sagitarii. OW-fire strip both shields and do 1 damage. The titan only manages to put 1 BM on the Sagitarii.

Terminators retain initiative and engage the Sagitarii. With the help of supporting fire from SM Warhound 2 they wipe the formation with no losses. The y consolidate towards the SM t&H objective to claim it.

Collosus on the left flank sustains on predators and wipe them out.

AM retains and put Collosus on right flank on OW.

The SM BTS double move towards the second T6H obective. OW-fire from theCollosus formation kills 2 tactical stands. SM BTS fire on Crusaders in front of them but only manages 1 BM.

AM Warhound 1 advances towards scout, kill 2 stands and break the formation which falls back toward the AM blitz.

SM WArhound 1 advances forward and shoots at the lone crusader in front of hum, it dies.

Avengers go on CAP.

Thunderhawk air assaults AM Warhound 1. Intercepting Avengers only manages a BM on it. Devs and assaults charge the Warhound and after 2 rounds of combat the SM finally wins without any losses. The Warhound stays put though.

AM Crusaders double move towards SM Blitz and fires on SM Warhound 1, 1 BM.

Thunderbolts stand down (thats 3/3 hahaha!!)

Avengers ground attack SM Warhound 2 and breaks it. The Titan falls back to SM Blitz.

Minoris go on OW.

END PHASE: All formations rally (Scouts and Warhound for SM).

TURN 4: SM wins initiative.

SM BTS sustains on Colossus formation, 1 BM.

Terminators retain and engage the Collosus in FF combat. The terminators win without losses and consolidate towards T6H objective. Collosus fromation breks and falls back toward SM side behind a small mountain.

AM Warhound 1 sustains on assault marines in fron of him. 3 stands die and the formation break.

Collosus on the left flank retian and fires on Devastators. 3 stands die and the formation breaks.

SM Waehound 1 near the SM Blitz sustain on crusaders and wipe them out.

Minoris sustains on SM BTS. 2 stands and 1 rhino dies.

SM Warhound 2 double moves towards the Minoris coy and puts 1 BM on them.

Avengers ground attack the SM BTS, 1 razorback goes poof!

Thunderhawk stands down.

Avengers ground attack the SM BTS, 1 rhinos fies and the formation breaks.

Thunderbolts intercept avengers but only puts 1 BM on them.

the AM BTS (skitari demi century) duble moves towards the Scouts and wipes them out.

END PHASE: Collosus rally, DEvastators rally and SM BTS rally.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: SM 1 (T&H) - AM 1 (T&H)

No fifth round.

AM wins on points 1238 - 925.

What i rhough:

SM had some really bad rolls (3/4 failed activations for thunderbolts)
The Collosus Robots where really good. They're like a predator formation with a hydra but more resilient.

Crusaders failed to do anything good.

Warhounds are still gosh darned awesome. I really think they should only be available in pacjs for 500p. It's also more close to the fluff. An army without 2 Warhounds if they can take them is hard to find.

Minoris coy are still very slow and hard to get into combat. I usually end up using them as a Blitz guard.


This was my first Battlereport this week. I choose a list that 1 AC asked to be tested. Tomorrow i will do another. If everybody does this we should be able to approve several lists in the next 3 months!! So come on and make an effort!

I have to say that warhound singles are all right but they do die pretty easily in my games.

For crusaders, think of them as screening units and in a pinch CC guys. They are pretty fast and they get that MW hit which helps against things like terminators. Just don't expect them to survive that long. Use them similar to how you would use sentinels.

For minorus, have you tried using the transport version? in my games they work fairly well to get sagitarii with rapiers to a good firing location if you don't garrison and the AA helps keep them protected. Shooty types are more challenging. You just have to find good firelanes where you can cover advancing formations or just accept they move slow and move your force at the minorus speed.
