Thanks all I've been on hold a bit since my hobby basement was occupied by visiting family, but should be good to go again. Next up, Whirlwinds and Bikes.

I'm thinking of moving another formation of bikes and a formation of Landspeeders into the queue ahead of the Warhounds, to let me try the Dark Angels "hunt for the fallen" list with a Ravenwing; Angels of Redemption should get in on some of that action occasionally.

Two tone armies look great as epic armies, always been partial to Howling Griffons myself, yours is shaping up really nicely!

I'd love to do a battle report with these, once they are ready for their Hunt for the Fallen

Here's a formation of Whirlwind artillery tanks, with a Hunter upgrade


and a formation of Bikes, with a single Attack Bike (for placing the odd BM) and a Chaplain upgrade (because Chaplains are awesome).


I've got the extra Speeders and Bikers primed, so they're next in line.

where the Force Commander confers with a Librarian and a Venerable Battle Brother in a Contemptor Dreadnought, while two junior Battle Brothers operate the Hololith table and the Orbital uplink.


The battle has not yet started; Blue forces occupy a forward garrison, while red forces mass opposite the garrisoned objective, having only a small force on the left flank.

There's a bike too many for a normal formation, but I doubt I'd be fielding a commander in a normal Bike formation. In a Ravenwing formation for a Dark Angels Hunt for the Fallen, it's another matter.

Great work! My first thought on seeing the command station was "ooh, they've captured a fallen iphone..."
