Just how expensive is this dropship? Everyone keeps saying how expensive it is, but I have no idea how much. |
I bought mine (actually was gifted) for $34.00 during a bitz sale. They forgot some of the parts that they later sent for free so I actually got it a little bit cheaper. At regular bitz rate, the dropship goes for around $50.00 USD.
Put in a bitz order at a GT and you'll pay for it by weight, a huge savings!
By the way, the model was originally designed for naval space games so it isn't in 6mm scale. It's spaceship scale. It is a very cool model and I can't wait to build mine.

Jimbo's close to right, (again), if you add up all the drop ship parts, she's about $70.00. ?Troll 41 shows all the parts, and the price of those parts are in the G/W US 2002 Listings, also. ?She's a high maintenance bird ...  , but aren't they all ... ?

Well IIRC, a Leman Russ hull with a dozer blade, just like one in the pic that Jimbo posted on TuffSkull's site, when we had this discussion about the Leman Russ Recovery Vehicle, months ago. Along with those hulls were Leman Russ turrets with a heavy twin flame thower. I just sent 4 of these to Doug, and he's sending me the Leman Russ Recovery Vehicle, that I never got. And I got a hold of 6 metal trackor beamz, for the Orks, I don't believe these were ever released. So along with the other items that I mentioned, the drop ship, Exodites, etc., I was very lucky to get all of these  !!!

Thanks, Jimbo, again, "you are the man !!!". ?And as of today, Darkone (Doug) is sending me a Leman Russ Rec. Veh. !!! ? He has one and is looking for more ? !!! ?Also, I forgot to mention, when my buddy worked at G/W US, he got Leman Russes & Predators with stowage, (like the ones that were released with E40K), however these were the versions releasesd with SM2 but with stowage. ? Some day I'll have to get pics of all these, so you don't think I'm making all this up ? ?!!! As to how many were released, who knows ? Not very many, from what I can tell ?
