Awesome! I like the stormtroopers, can't wait to get some and some Valkyries to go with them. Tell me, are those tank transporters in the other pics scratch built, or did you purchase them somewhere?

As noted on the page & in the previous post with the pictures, the transporters are from GZG (Ground Zero Games). They're the same range as the big Trucks I used in my Desert army.

Thanks T/S ! Great pics & site ! ?I too look forward to the Stormtroops and the Valkyrie & Vulture models. ?Now let me get this correct ... these Storm Troops (and other "special" Epic infantry) are metal and moulded individually, yes ? ? ?And you know, painted up that Warhound "ain't too bad" ! ?I could carve off the p/seals or even make some of them battle damage. ?And that is the Warhound that will be released when ? ? ?

Yup, the resin masters were individually based as can be seen from the last few images & I believe thats how all the metals will come.

It is too bad that the Valkyrie box couldnt include 8 Stormtroopers for a complete set, instead of having to buy both the box and the blister.

Hi!

Added the valkerie and the similar flier to net epic as well. One is a light transport with some offensive capability and the other a "gunship" type predator.

Nice to have new model again.

Now I've been playing Epic Armageddon ever since the game was released some year and a half ago... and it suddenly occurred to me last night that I might have misunderstood some concepts completely altogether!

Weapons stats

First of all when reading the tyranid army list and discussing some weapons stats on the old SG forum one thing became clear as mud... I've tried to explain my confusion in these examples using some weapons I just made up:

4 x Total Plock Gun R:234cm AP 2+

Now this weapon would only fire a single AP2+ right?
The "4 x" is merely describing the amount of weaponry... and the AP2+ is the sum of all those weapons?

Had it been:

4 x Total Plock Gun R:234cm 4x AP 2+

Then it would have fired 4 shots right?

So the land raider only gets a single 4+ shot?

Space Craft:

Now I've never actually used these.. :blush:

But here goes: I don't think the rules clearly states wether a space craft is one use only or if you can use it any turn as long as the opponent isn't using a space craft that turn?!
If I had a kill kroozer in my orks army - could I plan a orbital bombardament at turns 1,2 & 3?!

Army Selection

Been looking through the book trying to find the paragraph stating the rules for the 33% limits in aircraft and war-engine selection?!?! Couldn't find it though! Anybody knows?

Anyway - my question was: Is there a 33% for BOTH of the types or for the types combined?

In other words can your army be combined of 33% WE, 33% Aircraft and 33% troops!?

Nope- the Land Raider gets 2 AT shots (2*twin-linked lascanon) & 1 AP shot (heavy bolter).

The 33% limit is WE & Engine COMBINED. Thus in 2,700 points game if you take 850 points Warlord Titan than you can have zero aircover.

It forces you to make hard choices in army selection.

I mixed up CC and long range weapons... so nevermind that part.

As to the 33% limit:
Phew - that makes more sense... AB got me puzzled!
I still wonder where in the book the limit is mentioned?
