Working from home does have its advantages; for starters I do not have a "no personal mail policy" . . . .

I sold a load of stuff on ebay so am still managing to use the "well I sold a load of stuff on ebay so I am using that money to buy new models" line. I am not sure how long I can blag this one though.

I'm selling off larger scale models for smaller. That is a genius stroke so far, since storage space is a constant issue, hence my recent interest in creating ever more storage space. It even makes me look handy.

Starting up 10mm historical/fantasy is a genius stroke so far.

To be honest although I joke about it, I don't really need to hide it as she doesn't really mind. Everybody we know knows what I'm like with my hobbies and I have been the same since we met, so she's no cause to complain really.

However, the genius thing about Epic is that
a) it doesn't really depreciate so it's not really "spending"
b) I've sold more of it than I've bought due to the end-of-3rd-edition madness
c) it's cheaper than other hobbies/addictions I could be buying stuff for instead...

In fact she didn't even raise an eyebrow when I told her I was thinking about buying up GWs epic stock to the tune of 5 grand or so..
