A little delayed, but here is the April update.

Trying not to get too discouraged by the news about Specialist Games (I still have Ork, Eldar & Space Marine armies that could use some random units to bring them "upto snuff").

I managed to base and undercoat everything, as well as, paint 700 pts worth of sentinels and thunderbolts. Still need to finish their bases with some flock.

All of the close-ups of the red "squadrons" came out blurry, so there are only close-ups of the yellow formations.

My shifting projects

A little update on this project.

I finally received the Industrial Infantry I'm going to use for Skitarii, so I'm busy getting those glued down to bases .

I also thought I'd post some work in progress shots of the knights. There are two groups, I plan to paint the paneling so that one group goes from dark red at the botom, through orange in the middle and yellow/white at the top. The other group will do the reverse (red at top, yellow/white at the bottom).

Hey DWD i don't know if you've done them that way on purpose or not but the shoulder armour plates on your reavers are backwards you should reverse them 180 degrees.

I just did a quick google image search ... and I think you're right.

I'm way too lazy to fix that though (and I vaguely recall that's the only way they'd fit on the carapace I made).

Finished the knights.

That's 32 down (12 knights, 16 sentinals, 4 thunderbolts), 17 to go (2 warhounds, 2 reavers, 2 warlords, 1 imperator, 10 skitarii)

In some respects, these were test pieces for the bigger guys. They came out well enough, although I need to work on keeping my hand steadier when painting hazard stripes.

The pictures came out a bit blurry as well (maybe I've been drinking too much caffeine lately).

It's the end of the month again ... time for July updates!

I painted all of the "basic" titans this month. Same basic color scheme/pattern as the knights. The pictures came out a bit "yellowish", I think I may have a setting wrong on my camera.

Just have the Imperator and the 10 Skitarri left (32 finished 11 models left).

I was thinking of going for the Imperial Trifecta and doing Space Marines next, but still need to get my hands on 2 Thunderhawks and some Drop Pods. Anybody have some spare ones around they'd let go for a "reasonable" price? :-)
