Dark brown

The martian theme needs something more imho.
Maybe a wash like bans suggested or a stronger highlight dry brush?

The highlight on the red base does exist really, the photo blows it out completely. But it's probably not strong enough. I might do another one starting with a darker red, as I think it will look too comical with a lighter highlight. Currently the highlight is a Vallejo orange (maybe clear orange, can't remember) and I don't want to go much brighter. In fact as it is, I don't really like the red one at all, it's just too visually jarring for me.

To be honest, my favourite is still the grey sentinel...
