How does Lasalle play? It's been out for a couple of years now and has the most reviews of any Napoleonics wargame I could find on BBG. What size bases did you use?

To be honest i havent played Lasalle yet!!

I bought the rule book a few years ago when it first came out, but no one wants to play Napoleonics. So being my stubborn self, i have started to collect some armies for it! I reckon once they play a game, then they will like it.

If not, then i have the Black powder rules as well.

Infantry are based on 30mm by 15mm, artillery on 30mm by 30mm, and Cavalry will be on 30mm by 20mm.

Steve.

Strong arming your buddies into playing your games? I approve!

Is BP's basing that flexible as well?

Great looking Austrians and Andrayada! :)

I am also building Lasalle forces, but in 28mm with the new Perry plastics!

The full army, as it stands for now. Im just after a base of bikes, preferably the old jetbikes, and they will be finished.....Apart from maybe a few warhounds.... ;)

The begginings of my scifi desert settlement/outpost..Ill be adding to this shortly.

Thanks for looking,
Steve

How'd you do the quartering on these yorkie? Just a steady hand or did you mask? They look great, the old E40k SM sculpts still hold up well I think.

All freehand for the paintwork, I never thought to mask them, wouldn't they be too small?

The older sculpts are way better than the new ones i reckon. I have alot of the new style rhinos from GW and the moulds must be faulty, the amount of filing etc i had to do. These older ones are pretty much faultless.

Quartering might get fiddly at this scale, especially with all the exaggerated details. Halving isn't too bad though, at least from my tests.

Definitely agree on the quality of the sculpts. Filing Rhino mold lines got REAL tiring. I'm looking forward to working with my E40k SM army because I won't have to worry about that.
