Good morning everybody!

I have this bunch of lovely looking Exodus Wars tanks, with different turret forms, and I would really love to use them for E:A.

But I am at a loss as to which army....

The non-Edenite MBTs would be nice Imperial tanks, but they lack the sponsons. I was hoping for the Minervan list, but all the Leman Russ variants have sponsons....
For Orks, I think they are too clean and "tidy", and would involve quite some additional modeling. Also I already have tons of plastic Gunwagons.

The Edenite variants would be perfect for a LOTD list, but they only have "Traitor armour" as mechanized support. And here again, the sponson problem.

Does anyone use these tanks in E:A games? I am mostly talking about MBTs, the arty is fine for Imperials I think.

I'd love to see some kind of list (preferably Chaos) that would offer the opportunity to field these non-sponson MBTs...

cheers,
M

I fudged over the no sponson issue. All the MBTs did have their barrels swapped for lengths of brass rod. The Basilisks and Medusas had the Apollo barrel modified but not totally replaced.

Dom (formerly of EW) did this Space Marine army:

There are bits and pieces scattered elsewhere: Commissar Rudolf uses a mix of GHQ and EW, for instance.

What about attaching sponsons to the side? We have a whole host of them in the component store and a fair few of our packs (the Enforcer variants especially) have a megaton of them.

Could be done. In my personal situation I was magnetizing, and having to switch out sponsons and turrets on 6mm models would have been inconvenient. Now the project is more or less done. It might work if they were permanent, though I'd have to see if they fit on the skirts or not.

After remembering that I ordered a lot of Otterware last year I dug out the Raubtier and the side sponsons of the freemer cannon fit perfectly. All hail the Otter! Order incoming :)

EW sponsons would work too I think, but I don't like the look of the round sponsons on the sides.

Remaining issue is the front Lascanon... you really could've been more considerate of E:A players when designing your tanks :P
