Mechanicus Heavy Ground-Effect Transport



There are very few roads on Stenberg, and those that exists are typically closed by snow half the year. Transport between the larger Forges is typically handled through a network of subterranean railroads, but those lines don't extend to the few scattered surface towns that do exist. The Heavy Ground-Effect Transport uses a combination of repulsor technology and powered thrusters to hover a few inches above the ground, and is capable of traversing any reasonable clear and level terrain.

When the war erupted, the heavy transports not captured by the invaders were converted for use by the scattered hinterlands Skitarii forces still fighting; They were immediately fitted with Void shields to compensate for their civilian construction, and many were also equipped with light weaponry.

The transport depicted here (HT-24) was never equipped with weapons; It was destroyed during a raid on an Imperial landing facility in the 45th day of the war, after delivering a demi-century of Skitarii to within engagement range of the facility's static defenses.

This is of course a counts-as Transport Ordinatus Minorus. I might add some guns and gubbinz to represent shields, it looks a bit spare on the topside.
