nitpick, not sure what you mean? try messaging E&C, he might know where to find some, the aquatic mammal might know too.

MoK, assuming the wife gives me the weekend off, yes!

I was referring to the Liams. I seem
impervious to Forumware speak

so, in a frenzied evening's painting last night I managed to get 4 stands of stormtroopers done and a little bit of progress on my warhound, the stormtroopers are blue werewolf canadian models and for my money the best infantry models in the game, the level of detail is simply awesome

stormtroopers (including commissar)
Image

started with a coat of camo green on the coats, and catachan green on the trousers and helmets, charadon granite on the boots, hands and face masks, picked out the backpacks in graveyard earth and the plasma guns in mechrite red, gave it all two washes with devlan mud (allowing to dry fully between coats) then highlighted in the original colours, with codex grey for the face masks and power cables on the guns

Warhound
Image

started with mechrite red on the armour, then covered with blazing orange, while the orange was still wet I blended blood red in to darken it. Metal so far has been drybrushed in boltgun metal and picked out on the carapace and engine vents

Tonight I'm intending to finish the stormtroopers as well as my infantry company and warhound, if my neck holds up and I don't get the shakes again!

thanks for looking, C&C always welcome

Those look great, the commisar however is awesome!

Your Titan colourscheme is coming on nicely too.

thanks! I am pretty pleased with the commissar, I had to stop kyself from repeatedly going back and fiddling before I ruined him..... I have another to do for my infantry company, such awesome models! I'll be ordering another bunch soon and really can't praise them enough, hopefully my mediocre paintjobs do them justice!

oh and painting on the sprue is so much easier.....

I'll get some pics taken tomorrow, but I've now finished my infantry company and my stormtrooper platoon as well as two stands of ogryns....just have six super heavy tanks, six hydras, seven chimeras, a warhound and a pair of thunderbolts to paint before saturday...... I doubt I'll be winning any best army prizes, but I would love to at least get some points for painting!

I'm babysitting tomorrow while my wife is sick, so if I can stick my two year old in front of the telly and pursuade him to leave me to it, I stand a slim chance of getting it done!

TV - the best invention for parents, ever! The warhound paint scheme looks fantastic and with a robust supply of leeks too :) Some close up shots of the infantry would be great when they're done..

Nice looking Grunts !!! But I always take mine of those thick ungainly sprues ... have to cut and sand the figure bases, so they will fit in the 5 hole base, before I paint. I Sticky Tack them to the tops of old paint bottles. I really hate those thick sprues and sometimes the ankles on the figures are too thin and they have to glued back on before the painting starts ...
