now the infantry. These printed really well, but they are more true scale 6mm than what people are commonly used to in the scifi realm. by that i mean their height is just fine, but their heads, hands, and guns are sized as they would be for a person if they were 1/300th normal size.
Another issue, you will notice the the first set of basic infantry has bases that are too wide 9by 4mm to be exact). this is really my fault, I did not check the stl's enough before I sent them to be prototyped (they didn't look that big on the screen, I swear!). this was corrected for the heavy and specialist infantry. So now I am wondering what to do. I will not have them re-prototyped for monetary and time reasons. I could leave them as is, and if it bothers people it will only take a few seconds to correct with some nail clippers. Or, I could have the caster send me the 50-60 master castings for the production mold and I could snip them to an approximate circular shape myself before the production mold is made. Any thoughts from the forum on this?
