Well "official" Chaos Baneblade-chassis tanks are the Plaguereaper, Tower of Skulls and Doom Blaster.

Okay, fair enough, but I disagree with you that this is any more thematic. For me, the thematic nature of traitor Guardsmen and Cultists is that they have access to Daemon Engine support, and daemons. This is what makes the army both appealing and different from other lists. By splitting it up like this, I fear that it's going to make the army less, rather than more, appealing.

Wait and see what Tim comes up with; I imagine most of the current builds will be viable in one way or another.

With the new year coming fast I'm just about ready to start looking at LatD list.

I can't say I'm particularly thrilled at the prospect of altering the list. Yes, it has a lot of units, but it allows players to tailor it to their own preferences, so it's actually quite flexible. On that basis, I don't see the need to alter anything. It just seems like change for the sake of change to me.

Irisado, can you post the type of army that you like to play so that I can get a feel for what you play and where you are coming from.

I thought I had a list posted on here, but I appear to be mistaken. Here is a rough version of the last list I used:

Khorne Coven 490
11 Mutants, Daemon Prince, Icon Bearer, Daemonic Pact
7 Chimeras

Khorne Coven 385
Demagogue, Mutants, Icon Bearer, 6 Big Mutants, Daemonic Pact

Khorne Coven 385
As above, except 5 Cultists

Tzeentch Coven 555
Arch Heretic, 2 Mutants, 3 Cultists, 6 Big Mutants, Daemonic Pact, Chaos Altar, 4 extra Cultists

Tzeentch Coven 445
Demagoguse, 5 Cultists, 6 Big Mutants, Daemonic Pact,
2 Hydras

Lord of Battles 400
Khorne Daemonic Assault Engines 300
Khorne Daemonic Assault Engines 300
Tzeentch Doom Wings 150
Traitor Rough Rider Platoon 150

Daemon Pool: 12 Lesser Daemons 240, 2 Greater Daemons 200

Total: 4000

There may be some mistakes, as I've typed it in a hurry, but you get the general idea. As you can see, this list is quite daemon heavy, but it does include Traitor Guard elements, and may well include more in the future, as I felt that the list as a whole lacked fire support. The flexibility of the army is why I like the way it's currently structured on the whole :).

Thanks, I'm going to start a new thread to discuss possible changes to the list.
