Alright, here's the result of all the bio-statistic threads from the last couple of weeks. This is all-inclusive, any additions will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Let me know if you spot any typos.

Edit 2011/11/08: I've updated the ref sheet to include the Vitagon crit and reflect the Brood rule changes from the special rule's breakdown thread.

Meiotic spore range should be 30cm.

In leviathan :p

They should also have a better CC ability; they're a real menace in 40k, exploding in your face.

30cm move seems unusually high for the Scythed Hierodule? Is that a typo?

It isn't, that's what Zombo wanted to go with.

Short answer: In 40k they're pretty much the quickest thing there is; quicker than a rhino for example, so if anything it's actually pretty conservative.

Long answer:

In 40k the Hierodules and 'phant move 12" basic (same as a rhino), then can trade weapon shots for extra movement. Thus a Scythed Hierodule moves a minimum of 12+d6" as it only has one weapon. If it doesn't fire the bio-acid it moves 12+2d6".

The Barbed 'dule and 'Phant have these rules too, but due to their heavier weapon loads I figure them less likely to trade shots for extra movement.

It also allows the Barbed and Scythed to remain at the same points cost as each other.

It's the same Agility rule as the Warhound and all Eldar Titans have.

So Barbed should be 30cm too?

Potentially, but it'd be worth more than the scythed if that was the case. It should probably go up to 25cm though.

The DC value of Hierophant Bio-titan (990.M41) doesn't seem to match to either of the 745-type Bio-titan DC values. Was the generally accepted "classic Hierodule = modern Hierophant" naming convention dropped? Are we now supposed to have three diffrent sizes of Bio-titans?

Given that a name change was inevitable due to the naming issue, and that Dave wanted a different weapon layout, and that the 40k stats for the modern Hierophant suggest higher than DC4, I decided we might as well split them entirely. I don't see it as a problem since they won't be in the same list together.

The "old-stuff" list will use the 745 'dule and 'phant. The "new-stuff" list will use the barbed/scythed 'dule and 990 'phant. I don't think there's going to be a list with all of the versions in it, so proxying the old for the new or vice versa will work. I'd think you'd still only need two sizes of bio-titans.

Well the Bio-Titan list may end up using "3" but it would probably be the Barbed/Scythed Hierodules, the 990 Hierophant and an upgrade (+2DC). Model wise it would be the two metal versions (or scratchbuilds) and a gaunt scratchbuild.
