now the infantry. These printed really well, but they are more true scale 6mm than what people are commonly used to in the scifi realm. by that i mean their height is just fine, but their heads, hands, and guns are sized as they would be for a person if they were 1/300th normal size.

Another issue, you will notice the the first set of basic infantry has bases that are too wide 9by 4mm to be exact). this is really my fault, I did not check the stl's enough before I sent them to be prototyped (they didn't look that big on the screen, I swear!). this was corrected for the heavy and specialist infantry. So now I am wondering what to do. I will not have them re-prototyped for monetary and time reasons. I could leave them as is, and if it bothers people it will only take a few seconds to correct with some nail clippers. Or, I could have the caster send me the 50-60 master castings for the production mold and I could snip them to an approximate circular shape myself before the production mold is made. Any thoughts from the forum on this?

Woo hoo!

I think I'd snip off the masters to make the work facing the customer easier - but then, I'm a lazy customer =P

If you can correct it before a production mold is made, I say do that. This is going to frustrate your customers if you don't and it could affect sales. Better to fix once than have everyone having to fix. With a clipper and file, you should be able to get them round enough so that people can't notice your workmanship.

Let me just say, these figures are gorgeous, by the way.

Yes, fix now before sales -- 50-60 to correct versus many thousands. I may have several hundred to do just for myself...

It's also worth noting fixing them now will have a small effect on your margins by saving on materials. Both sides win.

Fix the bases before production.

Also, I'm gonna buy me some of these, because they look awesome. :)

Yeah, I figured I would be fixing them prior to production, makes the most sense.

@madd0ct0r
I certainly did not do any of the sculpting, it was all Steve "Coolhand" Tyler, I could toss him a mail and find out for you though.

that would be cool - I'm currently unsure about a pattern of 0.2mm wide, 0.2mm deep square channels - think the silicone s as likely to rip as to pull out neatly

Yea, Holy Crap. I need me some of these.

A) No pic of Land Transporter yet?
B) When is Wave 2 coming? I dont buy partial forces, as I've been stuck with half a force before...
C) The vehicle that removed from the original group shot - who bought it and where can I see it?

Thanks!
