Well, I've officially started!

For my first ToEG, I'm showing off my Vanaheim Air Cav. I've got the material for just over 6k right now, less a couple flyers, but I'll start off with 3k instead.

My 3k list is as follows:

Vanaheim RHQ, 2 Vendettas - 500
Vanaheim Infantry Company, 2 Vendettas - 400
Vanaheim Infantry Company, 2 Vendettas - 400
Vanaheim Infantry Company, 2 Vendettas - 400
Vulture Squadron - 300
Stormtrooper Platoon - 350
Light Sentinel Squadron - 100
Light Sentinel Squadron - 100
Thunderbolt Flight - 150
Lightning Strike Flight - 150
Lightning Strike Flight - 150

To get to 5k, I'll be adding a Fire Support Platoon and two Mortar Platoons to the existing Infantry Companies, another Infantry Company with two Vendettas, a Vulture Squadron, two more Stormtrooper Platoons, and a Marauder Destroyer Flight. I then have a third Vulture Squadron, more upgrades (3x Fire Support Platoon and 2x Mortar Platoon), and a Marauder Bomber Flight to play with.

Progress:
Month 0: RHQ (500pt) *Done*
Month 1: An Infantry Company and a Sentinel Squadron. (500pt) *Done, two months late*
Month 2 Plan: A Vulture Squadron, Lightning Strike Flight, and second Sentinel Squadron. (550pt) *Done*
Month 3 Plan: Stormtrooper Platoon and Second Lightning Strike Flight *Stormtroopers done*
Month 4 Plan: Infantry Company and Thunderbolt Flight
Month 5 Plan: Infantry Company

Looking good, i prefer the black+ highlighted intakes on the front valk as it breaks up the tan.

That was intended as Identification of the command vehicle, but I see what you mean. I'll think on how else to make that identification.

i'd suggest a black band instead of a white one on the unit identification stripes at the tail

Except there will be a Black company. I'm going off the color ID from EA, with one exception; if a companies color is the same as it's platoon color, it's replaced with white. Thus this is Red Company, Red Platoon. The fifth Platoon of Red Company is Red/Black.

Infantry Companies (Platoons really) will be in Red and Green Companies, Vultures will be Blue Company, Stormtroopers Gold Company, and Black Company will be Recon, the Sentinels.

So I'm stuck with changing something else, unfortunately.

Perhaps you could keep the commander's intake black and paint the rest in the company's colour.

Fredmans - That was one of my thoughts. The other was to paint the intakes a darker brown, possibly Vermin or even Scorched Earth.

Rasta - They're EW, designed by our very own O-Man.

I've gotten some time to play with the intakes.

Sorry, the pic isn't the best. Scorched Brown with Bestial highlights. Thoughts?

Massive improvement with the intake colours, good glass as mentioned above, love the stripes.

Scorched Brown is a beautiful colour, and it matches up well with the light brown color on the valks.

Am I late?

Some distraction in the form of Necromunda, but I'm getting back on the ball now I have a gang fully painted up.

Red/Green Infantry Company

Image
Black/Red Recon Troop. Two bases need Clump foliage still, but first they need Varnish.

The second 500 point block.

Image
Blue/Red Support Squadron. No basing yet.

I'll probaly end up doing some A/C next, then go back to the Infantry.
