Great photos guys!
Thanks for sharing them.

Terrain looks great to me. The game rules actually state 12 pieces of terrain 15-30cm across for Epic. 1 piece of terrain could equal 3 of the old card buildings. These boards look just right.

As usual it was a good weekend of gaming.

Yeah, a great weekend.

That amount of terrain is pretty standard - it makes using long-ranged weapons like volcano cannons very frustrating, but on the other hand guardsmen/gaunts/eldar/etc. need somewhere to hide. Otherwise, it's as matthemuppett says.

Heh, I only used the LC Friday night against Chris. It failed to come in turn 1 thanks to a failed activation so I had to throw some Scout and 'hounds up to protect my BTS I had left there for support/AA cover. I got it in turn 2 thanks to strategy. Chris ended up getting 5 hits on me and I failed every one of my saves (bye-bye Assault Marines, and my heart stopped while he rolled to crit my LC) but I still ended up winning the assault. I also took 3 TBolts that game, Chris said I had no honor.

I put my army to a vote and everyone said I should take the 'nids, they did well. Two wins and a 65VP loss to Matt B's Orks (that's what Bill calls a "sound thrashing"). I've to BatReps for all those games I need to post.

On the terrain, maybe, but no one complained and teams were free to rearrange as they wanted. I wasn't going anywhere near a sparse board with my bugs...

Three Tbolt flights and a Marine LC ?? Yup, no honor at all Dave ;D , moral victory goes to the Iron Warriors - or would that be an immoral victory?

So it sounds like ice/tundra and desert planets are safe from Hive Fleet Onachus? Who knew the Hive Mind was such a picky eater...

That'll learn you to take some ground AA.

What's that? BL has little to no ground AA I hear you say? Go cry home to momma...

I'm sure there's a cream for that.

Looks awesome. That Old Crow scenery looks great.

Damn, I wish I had thought of that before we started playing. On the other hand, it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway.
