I'm not sure what Happened to the xenos project. You have to perhaps ask in the xenos thread if you want more details. I do know that Epic UK are developing a tyranid list, which would be 'official' at least as far as UK tournaments go.

outside of UK tournaments http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=15112 is probably as official as can be got.

Work is well underway on the EpicUK nid list, its scheduled for release in september so will be legal for open war and the GT this year and all EpicUK + affiliated event next year

Nice list , but you will miss the two flak wagons and the ground control the extra grots give the big warband.

I know, that list of yours was almost perfect in my eyes. But I don't have the models (can't bring myself to put the extra blood axe grotz and boys I have into the Goff warband) and I've been a lazy painter recently. Besides, I can't have it exactly the same as yours now can I?

I'd have prefered to have the SC crisis formation 4 strong, and 2 6 strong crisis for the orcas, but that would have left me with 3 BTS formations, which sounds like a Bad Idea (tm). If I coulda freed 25 points I would have put a gundrone stand in with the SC to fix that, but the only way I could see for that was to trade the pathfinders for a third recon formation, which I didn't want to do as I wanna play with said pathfinders.

The only other thing was I would have maybe liked a third skyray (meaning a third mounted firewarrior formation) but I don't have the devilfish for that, damn forgeworld.

I'm in the Cheltenham area, so not too far away for the odd weekend trip. Glad to see Epic is going strong in Bristol - have't seen many players in my area for a while.

Alansa, thanks for the update on the Nids. I bought a fair bit of stuff years ago when GW sold off the in store stock - hope to use it one day.

Sunday would the be better day, as saturday will be when the tournament matches are played. Sunday will be a much more ad hoc setup.
