Does anyone here play the new clix version of MW? |
Hi Paul ? ? ? ? I got snared in the same way by a nephew while I was in England in October. It is mindlessly simple but it plays really well. The collecting thing is not a problem. I buy singles directly from the states from popularcollections.com Cheap and very reliable. Now (and perhaps more importantly) with a little work these things look really nice. Take a look at what I have done with some of my stuff.

Welcome back mate. Sorry to hear you've had medical problems. Unfortunately I'm all too aware of things like that so my sympathies go out to you.
Thanks a lot for the link to your stuff - I was thinking that if I did get into it I'd have to repaint them (its just my nature I guess... ) and it's good to see that someone else has done this & had good results.
I think you've just cost me half a months wages - time to buy a MW:DA army...... ?

Bob DeAngelis | Very nice paintjobs there! I didn't know they made so good looking tanks! The DI Schmitt tank especially looks great! How big are those things, anyway? Some of them look like I could use them as Squat proxies.

I know I'm late to the conversation, but I think MWDA is fine for a knockaround/beer-and-pretzels game. It is N-scale (1/160), so a lot of epic terrain is close enough to be interchangeable. That makes it easy to field a nice looking board.
A lot of my friends are not tactical geniuses and don't really care (I typically play epic with acquaintances rather than buddies), so it suits them even though it's too simplistic for me.
And buying stuff second hand is the way to go. I don't give a care about the "collectible" models, so there is no way I will pay a premium for the random boxes. Just give me the cheap models to play a silly game.

Once again, C/B has painted up some great stuff! ?
The AFVs could easily be used with Epic!
And I'm glad to hear you are feeling better C/B!

Hi!
Some of the "clicky" stuff would make good proxies for epic. Since in netepic we use BT mechs for the Slann ones, you could use a lot of them in an epic game.
