I recently saw a home-made Capitol Imperialis around here somewhere and it got me thinkin of making my own. I have a butt-load of 1/72 scale tank chassis and think i will use one as a basis. But, i would like to know if anyone has and/or can measure the length of the actual models wheelbase from the front to the back so that i can choose a model of mine that is similarly sized.

The original CI chassis is 2 3/8" (6.1 cms) long and 1 3/8" (3.5 cms) wide.

Sadly, Dwarf Supreme knew that from memory.

the old chassis actually was taken from a 1/72 M113 model. The exact model could still be found. But it was very under scaled and the tracks didn't have much details anyway.

6.1 cm?

I'd assumed 12cm to go with the art and DC12.

that said, by the art, titans can look over mountain ranges...

The art has always been wildly inconsistent, but anyway this is mostly due to the fact that Super Heavies miniatures were always very under-scaled at that time.

A truescale CI would be... a bit taller than the shorter buildings in this picture, I guess.
