Really???i thought 10 was quite a good activation count.

Any idea what to change,i would drop the artillery,but ive just painted them up and i really want to use them???

I'd say : go with what you like.
After all, it's not a tournament, and as it is your first game with the list, the best way to figure how you'd like to alter it is to have a game with it.

Use your painted models, as you said it's a nice way to get some motivation, and try to go in the game with a plan.

I mean, which objective are you going for, which one will you try to deny, rather than which unit you will use to kill what.

Of course it's important to keep their ability in mind, but actually you're unlikely to forget that Laser Blasters are for AT fire.

10 is good at 3000pts. :-)

Of course. But as it is a first game (I don't know if is opponent is the same), a bit of finding out by himself might help him get a better grasp of his list in the mid-term.

And there is the possibility to try and mitigate this, by targeting and eliminating small formation as a first priority, while exposing his (sentinels) as little as possible.

But yes, I agree, 2 activations more would be nice.

its not my first game of epic,just with this army!!!!!i usually play emperors childeren against him and ive always managed to pull off a win,even though he's been playing necrons for ages!!!!
