Way, way cool. Some very serious time was put into this board!! I'd be thrilled to play on it!

Only thing is the size of the road divider stripes...way too big IMHO. Sorry, I have a family member who is a traffic engineer. These just seem too big and the elbow curves around the corners unrealistic unless capped with some sort of turn arrow. Beleive me I'm NOT trying to be negative--this board is just so awesome that I simply think it deserves better stripes!

P.S. I see this type of scale creep on many cityscape boards, so it's not just this one!

Don't worry about it. I havent thought about that before, but actully I think you're right. Come to think of it: Why have we always painted road stripes on with paint? As far as i can remember I've only ever seen people use a brush when making their roads. Much nicer results would be achievable with a white crayon! Hm. Maybe I should revisit my old roads and add that... :blues:

I’m thinking of printing out a transfer of straight or dotted line(s), maybe with arrows and that, which I’ve drawn up simply enough on my computer at the appropriate lengths and shapes and using that with dirt, mud, weathering and chips off where the base colour shows through on top then. Should look pretty cool, particularly with the FW roads I have as they also have nice imperial eagles carved into the corner and 4-way junction ones, which I’m similarly going to pick out. I have a high quality photo printer and recently bought the transfer paper and solutions and fixitives, etc to be able to do my own transfers.

This city is awesome though, cheers for resurrecting this thread
