Anywhere around ~45 per unit looks like a pretty good starting point.  The 5cm difference in speed is really only worth a couple points so that doesn't really change the range much.  We're good, but we have more than that much error in our estimations.  Either 5/225 or 6/250 should work to start testing.

To avoid "fast" speeds in the Nurgle army, if that's desired, why not make it 25cm?

Still faster than most things in the list, but not *too* fast.

30cm is the absolute lowest speed the Blight Drone should have... you can easily justify 35cm (or even faster) by looking at the 40k rules / background (it has the fastest possible speed rating in warhammer 40,000).

These are zippy flies, not slow hulks.

So increase the cost to match the stats.

It should have 30cm move minimum, 5 strong unit sounds fine or else increase the cost a bit.

I will think about dropping the speed back to 25cm most likely.

You should name it something other than Blight Drone if you do that, because Blight Drones are very fast.

Maybe Hena Drone.

Yes, but being *house flies* maybe they don't tactically travel in straight lines; I envision them buzzing and flitting around... like flies.

So by this reasoning they should have an even better armour save?

Or when you kill one, another seems to take its place.

Was there no thought of the Maw cannon going to 5+ IC?

I was thinking about it, but can't say if I posted that thought .

I think it would be better than the 4+ that has 30cm move while being in the Death Guard.

The maw cannon is more powerful than a heavy flamer, so should be at least 4+IC. Frankly it's as powerful as a hellhound's inferno cannon, so this is already a downgrade.

As long as the stats that Hena posted are balanced with the points cost, does the to-hit value of the maw cannon really matter? Get it as close to the 40k rules without making it ridiculous (which it seems like Hena has done) and let's go.

The impact it has will not be known till people actually start making a list anjd playing it. If they are in every force as a must, that will show it for what it is.

As far as I can tell, Hena and I are the only ones to have even looked at the list and made a force from it.

Happy to see other people do the same.
