Gorgons move 15 cm  :agree:

Pretoreans/SH don`t loose 5cm sound very good

-maybe even If a Sh is unloading troops
it doesn`t loose the normal 5cm movement because the troops can disembark while moving for example: gorgon 20cm + 15cm inf. movement =35cm

-if a Pretorian/titan is unloading troops neither the pretorean nor the troops loosing the normal 5 cm movement
because a pretorean/titan has big hangar doors
which allows the troops to disembark quickly for example: leviathan 10cm + 20cm inf. movement = 30cm

I thought the Landtrain Engine counts as pretorean for shooting and movement( move max. 10cm/ always FF)
since the berserkres are normally for protection of the battlecars it isn`t that improtant.

This would help the chaos army. Their only way to get demons into the fray as far as I know is Plague Tower. I think this is good for them too.

When I think of this idea/rule is that a praetorian (and SH if they should be added too.. Not sure about this) is that they move sooo slow so they dont really have to slow down much for troops to exit.

For me Super-heavys don't really need this cause they can charge. A gorgon on charge if 15 cm move becomes 30. A praetorian only has 10 cm move. If you take away 5 the whole thing becomes plain silly for the latter.

Well, so far either Zap or Primarch has yet to comment this thread. So hopefully we can get some more opinions.

Should be adressed according to me:

1 Gorgon 15 cm move.
2 Praetorians no -5 move if unloading troops/ Same for Praetorians & Super-Heavy.
3 Would be the perfect excuse to order some cheesy pizza.

Bedtime for me.

The Plague Tower got a 15cm move to address this issue.  Don't see it being a big deal for the Imperials or Squats.

I'd have no issue giving the Gorgon a 15cm move.

I don't know enough the Gorgon to say anything on it.
But i agree totally with 2nd and 3rd points :)

so it's decided then? should we ask WMN to implement the following, or are there any objections?

Gorgons: move augmented to 15 cm?

praetorians do not loose 5 cm when troops disembark?

all IG players have to order gorgonzola pizza?

- Gorgon movement augmented to 15cm -> I'm OK with this
- Praetorians no -5cm move if unloading troops -> I'm OK with this (but transported troops still lose 5cm in movement for unloading)

- SH don't lose 5cm for unloading -> NO. Sorry, I'm totally against this.

Why:

- Gorgones could advance 15cm/30cm on charge and disembark troops
- Chimeras could advance 15cm/35cm on charge and disembark troops

This would give a real advantage in gorgone choice, 5 assault stands + 1 gorgon cost 200 points, 6 assault stands + 3 chimeras cost 250 points. There's not comparison between gorgons stats and chimeras stats (double 1+ face save, 4 PD, +4 CAF, SHT table, can charge through woods/rough/minefields/trench without penalty...). Actually, if the gorgon is not so much played it's because of its "short" movement. Give it the 30cm charge + disembark and you won't see any chimeras on the battlefield.

Giving a +5cm base movement + no penalty for disembarking to the gorgone could increase its cost. And it would be need to review cost on Squats Robot Command vehicle (SHT carrying 10 robots), Squat Hellfurry and surely some others SHT in some other codex.

scream, yeah, you're right. To give it both would be totally unreasonable. Hence, the 5cm boost to 15cm for the Gorgon only and the no unload malus thing for praetorians only. This seems to be the consensus we are heading to.
