Excuse the paint job, havn't had much time so its just got a dry brush and a flat coat of red.

The moulds now work (well , almost, the torso is still not ideal but can be cleaned up with a bit of work). The copper arachnid has 22 pieces for maximum pose-ability and super glue related frustration:
1 Torso (or thorax?)
1 Tail gun
6 shins
6 thighs
2 claw hands
4 claws
2 arms

I don't know if it can support its own weight with just glue, i used some green stuff around the joins as well and it seems fairly stable as long as you get 4+ legs positioned so they touch the ground. Its compatible with a fair number of cutlery components, im thinking of making an arachnid with cutlery blade arms for legs :p

you might want to blur out the detail on the tail gun in the first pic, too, lest we figure out what your inspiration was  :whistle:

:whistle: it is clearly a rusty coat hanger with rivets and a distorted lamda

Edit: rivets not rivers :p

A wee bit of streaking through the plates an a dollop of glossy, walnut flavored Minwax should shape things up nicely! :cool:   Of course, that's just my hairbrained way of painting...

Incredible work and the multiple bits really favor novel poses for the model.  Some cutlery converions would go over well methinks.
