Yes, enough movement there to grab onto a habitat or cruiser and the cargo containers could easily be used to store any good bits from a wreck that wasn't worth going back to base with.

Nice model that. Would be even cooler, if you could fit some sort of small ship, wreckage, or containers within those claws.
