The marine dreads in the store - are they all that model?

What are some good proxies for Chaos dreads beyond these?

Had a similar question about this at the Cock tavern the other day, and you don't get what's pictured.  Much like the SG Hydra...

You actually get two variants in the pack: two Dreads with one power fist arm and one missing arm, one one Dread with no arms.

You also get: assault cannon arm, multi-melta arm, lascannon arm and missile launcher arm.

So you can make:

Dread one: right arm assualt cannon/left arm power fist

Dread two: right arm lascannon/left arm missile launcher

Dread three: right arm multi-melta/left arm power fist.

Obviously you can swap the right arms about.

Hope this makes sense.

What about some of the DRM walkers?  The Mantagen, Velite, & Verger are all pretty solid dread proxies.

Interesting, anyone got a comparison to a 3rd edition dread? Maybe that could be a heresy era beast?

The velite+verger are IMO a bit big for dreads - they are closer to Knight size
