I don't think they'd need to be ditched, just used differently.



As to variant Defilers, Jervis did OK an AA Defiler, as well as a 'new' Rhino-hulled AA vehicle (Re: The new AA Rhino his words were "They* must have had something for AA in the Heresy") for the ERC testing...

...this was so that Obliterators could be reduced in power / increased in points / sidelined a bit.

Yeah, I keep getting pwned when I use my heresy list (no AA ground forces) so a heresy-era hunter is most welcome for post-heresy chaos lists.

The Red Corsairs now use both the new Defiler stats and has a Defiler formation.
