I certainly agree that any single tournament style won't make everyone happy. This is not a bad thing, it's not a critisism, it's just fact. The sort of tournament I would enjoy would doubtless be quite boring for the majority of EpicUK tournament goers, but I certainly wouldn't hold that against them. I know EpicUK doesn't fit my needs; that's not an attack on EpicUK, it just isn't my kettle of fish. There's nothing you lot are doing wrong, it just doesn't appeal to me, as my kind of tournament would likely not appeal to you.

Matt does perfectly fine to serve the people who are interested in his tournaments, and that's perfectly sensible. That doesn't mean those of us with different interests shouldn't be able to look elsewhere.

Something we've been discussing this end is mixing and matching things around a  little bit; using pre-set scenarios in each round instead of the tournament scenario in the book; this way it adds variety, pushes people's ability to be flexible and may help reinforce the idea that, whilst competitive to a degree, ti's a fun event to see what can be done with epic?

Well, I'd love to volunteer some of the "EPIC: Total War" scenarios for such an event!  (Look for the [Total War] tag over in the Epic Armageddon forum to see what I'm talking about.)

One of the concepts that will be discussed in the supplement is "Attacker/Defender", as some scenarios have specific effects based on an army's "stance" in a scenario.  For a tournament, each player would bring *TWO* lists for their army, one an "Attack" stance version and the other a "Defense" stance version and then use the appropriate army in whichever scenario the current round assigns them.

Chroma, if the London tournament changes to a one day tournament and gaming day, I'm sure some people will give your scenarios a run out.

I'd be up for gaming day scenarios for sure. I've an (entirely positive :-)) update about this event for you all but to do things properly i'm going to have to wait till the morning: put simply we've got a venue but i want to go into more details overall.
