Something we've been discussing this end is mixing and matching things around a  little bit; using pre-set scenarios in each round instead of the tournament scenario in the book; this way it adds variety, pushes people's ability to be flexible and may help reinforce the idea that, whilst competitive to a degree, ti's a fun event to see what can be done with epic?
Well, I'd love to volunteer some of the "EPIC: Total War" scenarios for such an event! (Look for the [Total War] tag over in the
Epic Armageddon forum to see what I'm talking about.)
One of the concepts that will be discussed in the supplement is "Attacker/Defender", as some scenarios have specific effects based on an army's "stance" in a scenario. For a tournament, each player would bring *TWO* lists for their army, one an "Attack" stance version and the other a "Defense" stance version and then use the appropriate army in whichever scenario the current round assigns them.
