Indeed, he's not a WAAC guy, just a guy who used *two* WAAC 'gambits' in a game.

That makes him like 85%*** fluffy.  :))

Anyways I think this discussion is pretty much dead now, most of the posts in the other thread were tournament gamers saying 'I'm a powergamer, not a WAAC gamer' and me/some others saying 'You're 20%*** WAAC'... I don't know if there's anything left to add.

***Number quantified according to rigerous scientific standards.

Not really, no, as Epic tournaments are only 20%*** WAAC... there's normally only a highly competative tendancy instead of outright competative douchery as we see in Warhammer Fantasy / 40,000.

***Percentage verified by my pet cat.

If the commisar thing happens again couldn't we all be good sports and class it as a veteran princeps .

I'm glad no one calls non tournament attendees Win At No Cost players , that really would be a hot topic :oo:

How can Schrodinger's cat be alive and dead at the same time?

Well, here's a thought. How do you determine that an army list is "Fluffy" rather than 'power-gamed'? Indeed, if it is quantifyable, is there any mileage in having an award for 'the most Fluffy' army (and I don't mean anything to do with cats, Schrodinger's, E&C's or any others :p ).

I always thought Schrodinger's Cat was a bit offensive to the intelligence of cats tbh (surely it is capable of making the observation it has been shot or not, even if it doesn't grasp the situation at hand).

imho the Epic lists are already pretty focussed, so pretty much any combination is quite fluffy. Where dodgy combinations (like the much maligned Black Legion WE horde) are possible list changes can step in to limit them. Then at least the WAAC/power gaming becomes somewhat self limiting, breaking a list proves it needs work and so the list becomes more balanced.

'fluffy' is quite a subjective term. Better to just have a 'best presented' army and leave it at that.
