I have to agree I prefer the purple, it contrasts better against the background. Is there a way to give each user the option as to which they want?
Cheers
Chris

Dammit you guys!
The only way to let people choose, is to have the option of different skins for the whole board. That is way off in the future, I am afraid.
OK. So, what colours for this little icon does everyone want? I find the previous purple too bright, but a draker purple would be fine. Let me know, and you will be done.

Perhaps you should make a few examples then we have a poll?
The two we have plus a few others, a darker purple, a blue and a red perhaps?
Cheers
Chris

Well, we coiuld try bright pink or florescent greeen for the sakes of keeping the chaotic feeling around LOL
I like the current one, but geting other colors is an option as far as it is not overly horrible and it shows a good contrast with the other icons there is no problem for me
Cheers,
Xavi

Quote (stormseer @ 20 2003 Oct.,20:10) | ..Perhaps a dark blue/purple like the forum background --> would suit? ? | For my vote, the current one is fine. Grey Suits me, but this is coming from the guy who's made god Knows how many websites in pure B&W:blues: (Except for lots of shiny colour photos of course... )

I still opt for a bright contrasting colour. However, like Stormseer says, the same as the forum background may fit in well.
Cheers

I wanted to put together a selection, but the weekend was busy and I dont have a decent paint package at work. So, what about what we have now. It is only a (indefinite) temporary measure.

If it is an indefinite solution I would prefer to have the previous contrast. It was much more stronger and noticeable even if you werew using a laptop (my case) so I would keep that over the blue contrast one. I think the contrasty was clearer there.
Cheers mate, keep up the good work in any case
Health and a lot of sixes,
Xavi

I don't mind.. this one or the 'Slaanesh' style are both fine imo...

I must admit that I like this version. I think that I will keep it unless anyone has a real problem with it. The previous version was a bit.. bright. I dont like bright sites and the blue and grey seems to be OK. Sorry for those which are not in favour of the new scheme.

I agree that this works, the sceme isn't too bring, but more noticeable than the other.
You have my vote to keep this!
Cheers
Chris
