Eldar retain with the Avatar.  The mighty god strides boldly up the hill to remove the Warhound from his sight.  The Warhound takes 2 DC damage and does nothing in return.  Supporting fire from the Guardians is ineffective.  But then from the woods the Mechanized Infantry fire at the Avatar.  Only three hits land, and ALL THREE FAIL TO SAVE!  One of the hits goes critical and the Eldar god lets out a wail that frightens the supporting Guardians.  His crumpled body strikes the ground, but fortunately for the lay of the land no other Eldar witness the horrifying event.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

The Leman Russ commander is furious over the loss of his tanks and concerned at the presence of the Cobras.  The mighty tanks move to maximize their firepower and give the Cobras everything they have.  Something must be terribly wrong with their targeting, however (or maybe some Eldar trick?) and only 5 hits land on the Cobras, ALL OF WHICH SAVE!  It is a battle that will cost them dearly later on.

The War Walkers step from their cover and fire at the exposed Leman Russes.  Despite their lance weaponry, only a BM is left to remind the Imperial Guard the Walkers are there.

Eldar retain and the Black Guardians assault the Thunderers.  All of them are wiped out except for the Commissar’s tank who back peddles to the blitz objective (fearless).

Eldar retain a second time and the reinforced Guardian formation emerges from the woods on a double.  The shots from the Wraithguard against the Thunderers are ineffective, unfortunately. My hope was to have them supporting the Shining Spears on the next activation, but that would not be.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

Thunderer#1 formation sustained against the Shining Spears.  The Eldar positioned themselves boldly and paid for it.  Two Shining Spears die and the remainder flee, broken and vulnerable.  

Retaining, the MechInf sustains against the Guardians and wipe out all of them.  Only the Farseer remains alive (I guess he realized he was going to survive so he wasn’t so worried) and flees broken to the corner of the board.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

It is all about activations now and the Eldar take no chances.  The Vampire ground attacks the artillery company, killing one and breaking them yet again.  

The Baneblades are lacking a solid target and in frustration fire at the War Walkers.  Oddly enough their shots go wide and only one War Walker is killed (3 remain).

The SoV#1 doubles and fires at the Warhound that was damaged by the Avatar.  The shots don’t hit but the extra BM breaks him.

In a tit-for-tat the second Warhound sustains on the SoV formation, killing all but one Firestorm.

Eldar win the SR again.  There is a reckoning coming for the Minervans.

Note to all Epic players who are fighting against Eldar armies: You never want to be in this position.

The cobras sustain on the Leman Russ formation!    All but two of the Imperium’s best tanks are wiped out, including the Supreme Commander.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, and I've got my Milkbone underwear on.

Eldar retain.  The Black Guardians assault the recently rallied Thunderer Commissar and Artillery survivors.  The assault goes heavily to the Black Guardians but still the Commissar survives. Doh!  They consolidate back into the Wave Serpents and move to safety…

…Or what they thought was safety.  The Baneblades blast the Wave Serpents, killing 1 WS and 1 Guardian.  They also hold their blitz objective solidly (#1 held).

The Thunderer#1 formation sustains on the Guardians and kill two Guardian stands.  The Farseer and Wraithguards all make their saves though.  Still their position keeps any Eldar from sweeping from the enemy’s side and contesting the objective (#2 held).

The Vampire attacks the broken Leman Russ formation.  Their heavy armor protects them but the extra BM kills off one more.  Now there remains one.

The healthy Warhound doubles, simultaneously breaking the Black Guardians and grabbing its own objective (#3 held, defend the flag is achieved for Minervans).  The score is 1-1 (Defend the flag for IG, Hold the line for Eldar).

The sole Firestorm doubles from the back of the board to the middle objective (#1 held), firing on the last broken Leman Russ and kills it with a blast marker.  Break their spirit achieved for Ulthwe’. 1-2 Eldar.

The wounded Warhound marches across the board and grabs the Eldar blitz!  This not only denies the Eldar hold the line but gives Blitzkrieg to the Minervans!

It's now a 2-1 in favor of the Minervans.

The SoV#2 formation which sat out turn two moves and fires at the Warhound.  One shield is stripped and one BM laid, but it remains.

The MechInf fire at the sole Farseer in the corner and clinch their objective, preventing anyone from getting close.

The Shining Spears (two strong) assault the Warhound.  Their assault is ineffective, however, and both are killed by the stubborn scout titan.  The IG are out of activations, however, and the Eldar still have three formations to go.

The Revenant titan comes out of hiding and doubles toward the scout titan.  The MW shots slice the Warhound to pieces and destroy it!  Score goes to 2-1 Eldar (BTS, Hold the line).
