Awesome... I'm pretty happy there are so many TTA fans here!
Mostly I get blank looks when I start babbling on about the books and all the history that goes along with them!

Van - no mate, but the Cyclops is a personal favourite of mine and definitely well up there on the to do list!
There are some amazing designs in the second book (Great Space Battles) which I'm also sorely tempted by...

Is this your work, Stormseer (http://www.bisbos.com/rocketscience/tta/ttamodels.html)?

The stuff you have shown here looks better.

No, not mine; those sculpts are based on the newer, revised TTA book released by Morrigan Press a few years ago.
All the pieces of art in the new book are CG renders which in my opinion look vastly inferior to the original paintings, and they also alter details of each design - that is why his Hornet looks so different to mine!

I don't think the models on that site were ever released in any form, which is a bit of a shame. Only half the new TTA books the community heard about were ever released before Morrigan dropped the line, but I hear the TTA RPG has been licenced to a new company, so we may see more books and models yet.

I do want to do more ships in this universe, but possibly in a smaller, more traditional wargaming scale so that I can produce models more quickly and cast them in greater numbers for less ££. It is of course a toss-up for loss of detail when you make ships really small though; and some of the TTA paintjobs require a large canvas!

Cheers
Gabe

I detect some enthusiasm for that idea... jolly good.
