Hya all,
Well, I have made a more or less safe landing in the University of Essex and I am now enjoying those boring things called getting drunk and practicing sex, appart from studying. Not bad to start with I would say. Simply to make you notice that I will be rambling once again soon now that I've got my connection back Cheers.
Health and a lot of sixes,
Xavi
PS: I had to leave my BFG and40k stuff at home (too much stuff already in my bag) so until december/january I am unlikely to be working on my despoiler/battle barge and other stuff again nor painting anything We will see if I an bring that to uni in a month or so. That means that most rants will be fluff ones, but hey I already warned you

having just arrived at Uni myself I was wondering.....
How many other Uni Students do we have in our ranks?
And Xavi, University of Essex, UK one (just in case there is one in ol US)? Do come from Essex? I'm from Billericay if you know it.

Hey here!
yup, it is university of Essex in the UK, near Colchester. I am stdying an MA in Politics here.
There are some uni students around, eve if weirdly enough this forum is more "mature" in its population than most WH internet forums, that are full of teenagers, so don't be surprised if barely nobody replies to that question
Health and a lot of sixes,
Xavi
PS: where is Billericay? Near Colchester?

Billericay is slightly South of Chelmsford. Are you from Essex yourself?

I worked with a girl from Barcelona last year. I found it very interesting to talk about how our Countries differed.
Why would you want to leave the sunny climes of Barcelona to study politics though?

Because girls in Barcelona are not that liberal?
Nah, because of the curriculum vitae + life experience you get from it. Top notch department, new people, new study style, new party style, new kinds of beer to test (quite important), new sex... something new, in general, you know I am even doing sport (oh my...) practicing capoeira and going to the gym apart from cycling and man, that is a change considering the lazy butt I have always been, heh.
So, we basicaly start with a study opportunity and end up in a gym with some chicks.
Conclusions? I prefer not thinking about any!
Cheers,
Xavi
