The new Horus Heresy novel Mechanicum will feature loyalist knights fighting the Dark Mechanicus. The excerpt up on the site tells of a Knight piloting a Paladin meeting the Emperor. I've already read the extract, where three Paladin Knights meet the Emperor as his ship first arrives on Mars...

...IIRC, the weapons and general capabilities were familiar, but there were none of the chivalric/household motifs.

Thanks. It's good to be here. I did the Adeptus Ministorum list and the Legio Custodes special card for Netepic a while ago but I havn't been active since, I'm looking forward to getting back in the hobby.

That would be cool to have the Knights reintroduced into W40k background. Would expect their fluff to be slightly updated but glad they simply were nt eaten by the Tyranids.

They were always there. Knight Households were included in the troops lists for Armageddon III and Eye of Terror campaigns.
