I think it's scarier as some sort of prober / poker. Well, scary to me anyway. Some chicks might dig it. And some of the, uh, non-typical dudes.

Really?!. The thought had never crossed my mind but now that you mention it... In that case I think I'll probably just leave it off... Don't want opponents to start crying and getting all confused.

I don't think I would be well thought of for entering the previous model in a competition. 'Put it away sir your scaring the children and me.'

To compensate for the loss I have replaced the offending part with a more mundane weapon of choice.

My seven year old son had been watching me making this tonight and has taken some of the bits and pieces lying around and using the bluetac has invented his own creation. Please humour me here I promised I would post it. So I give you Cyberworm...

I like Cyberworm.....would fit nicely in a Tyranid/Necron alliance theme army  .  Give the lad some greenstuff!

I like hoiw this looks now; it truly looks like a Chaotic bio-mechanical construct.

The cyber-worm is great, it seems you have a budding sculptor and miniature-builder there!

Tyranid/Necrons?.. Hybrids, Hmmm...

Took another look this morning and decided the gun is just too much so took it off. I wouldn't want it looking odd now would I.    Hopefully I'll get it undercoated and make a start on painting it later today.

Looks amazing   – are there metallic paints mixed with the purple of it just white highlighting (looks kind of silvery)? Great effect however its achieved. Really stands out whilst still fitting in, if you see what I mean.

Thanks very much Apoc, it's just white drybrush built up from dark purple. Dark purple first (Warlock purple mixed with Black), then drybrush lighter shades and eventually white. Obviously I'm a bit heavy on my drybrushing but it works for me. Probably looks silver because of the flash of the camera. (Just a guess)

Since I last posted I have finished two Packs of Daemon Knights of Slaanesh. I included them here to show how the Alter fits in with my whole Slaanesh scheme. Lithe and black, leatheresk with chains, sharp bits, phallic purple bits and in the case of the Scourge Knights a black ribbed knobbler thingy... for the main weapon

I think I need to stop painting now before the lure of Slaanesh takes hold.



Now, what the heck do I call it and what are the stats?.. I can't keep it as a superheavy as it's simply too big. It must be a Greater Daemon Possessed something or other of Slaanesh. Needs a template, fluff and rules. Zap!?. Scream!?. Anyone!?. I need a hand guys!  

Bugger, that means I still have an Alter to make... *Sob!*    Oh, good grief!... perhaps I should plan better.
