Hmm - As Sun Tzu would observe, terrain certainly 'shaped' this (and the previous) battle by allowing the Eldar to target a lot of BL troops in the open. I recommend the use of more woods and built up areas rather than a "blasted heath" approach to provide a little more cover.
However, from a playtesting perspective, this does raise a very important point - just what terrain should we use when trying out these playtests? Too little terrain or to little of a particaular kind will have signifiacnt impact on proceedings, and may end up skewing the impression of what went on. I know that Sotec ended up virtually dismissing all playtests other than those he personally saw for this very reason.
