We had a really nice game yesterday. We had 7500pts per side and chaos, squats and space marines foughts against eldar and orks.

1. Wave Serpent: the rule states that the wave is shot in the orders phase with no further restrictions, does it mean i can fire in a 180arc?
a) Does the wave affect low altitude fliers/floaters and skimmers as well?

2. The Optional Rule "Special Cards for Cavalry Companies" grants Special Cards the same movement rules as the Company Card.
a) Does this also include Eldar Exarchs if i take a Jetbike Saim-Hann Host or a Biel-Tan Host consisting of Shining Spears?
b) If this would be legal, would a Biel-Tan host with 3x Swooping Hawks give the Exarchs deep strike and jump packs, too?

3. Not a big one, but still a question: does the elite reroll token allow to reroll both melee dices or just one?

4. We had a problem to find the flier coherency rule, maybe some of you can tell me where to find this?

5. Is the Chaos Doomwing or any flier with a teplate(flamer etc. not barrage) allowed to shoot its weapon from high altitude?

6. Just "pro forma": Does every Weapon slot on a titan have to contain a weapon or may some leaved blank?

7. Maybe i asked this before, but i cannot find it in this forum: Does the Phoenix Lord get the same save as the Exarches (5+f)?

1) No, directly ahead of the model. a) Skimmers yes, Flyers No.

2) That's the trouble with optional rules....dont use them   . a) if you use the rule, then unfortunately, Yes.  b) no....Swooping Hawks aren't Cavalry.

3) "Any die roll"..... = 1 die.

4) There is no Flyer Coherency rule....there is a coherency rule...P13 Core Rule book.

5) Yup....unless otherwise noted in the unit rules.

6) Sure, can be left empty.

7) "Exact same characteristics as the aspect, plus HQ, Command and a 8 CAF"....so if the Aspect has a save the Phoenix Lord has the same one....and if not, no save.

About the 6), I would have say that when you buy a titan hull, you have to buy all the weapons that feet this titan. Else, it would be too easy to take 1 Warlord titan hull and 1 Plasma destructor on a single slot and leave others empty...

Plenty of precendent for leaving off weapons....50% of original Reavers only had 2 weapons, and there were "standard" Warlord configs that had less than 4 weapons.  Indeed, any Warlord or Reaver without a head weapon arguably hasn't filled all slots.  The new system is designed so you "get what you pay for"...if you want to pay for less so be it.  BTW, who'd take a Plasma Destructor without an FCC?!?

Hi!

For those whom played first edition Adeptus Titanicus, there were several warlord titan with less than the full complement of 4 weapons. They cost less and were for "lite" missions.

Titans with 4 weapons were actually "Nemesis Class" heavy titans.

yeah, you only pay the chassis costs, then give the VPs to your opponent first turn as the Titan topples to the ground.
