I'm as far as you can get from being an expert but I don't see anything wrong with the face. Really nice, I like the colour of armour you chose too.

Perhaps you feel the face is cartoonish? Too normal? Clean? (Okay I'll stop trying to second guess, why don't you like it!)

Too cartoonish, exactly.
And well, hard to describe but i'm not fully satisfied with it.
Well, he looks better on the tabletop than on this picture anyway :)

If he looks better than the photo shows I don't think there's anything to worry about.
Though I do understand, I don't think I've ever painted a mini that I'm actually happy with.

Can I ask where the wing came from?

If you're speaking about the wing on the dark angel helmet, it's directly on it.
The recent "chaos terminator lord" kit is quite cool, you can field a sorcerer, close combat or normal terminator lord and can get a khorne/nurgle/tzeench/slaanesh/universal chaos look with it (and you get lots of bitz to play with). The rocky chaotic star is cool too.



I'd like to see more of those kit for every force commander in battle or 40k (right now I think it exist only for space marine commander, chaos terminator, orc warboss, imperial champion and High elf). I want a big plastic warboss with lots of orky bitz :D
