Oh, pictures help when it comes to something like this, folks.  Comments like "We've played dozens of games like this and haven't had any issues" don't move discussion forward.


I'll fully admit that we've played exactly zero games with APU ; I'll badger Jstr to try a few, when he gets back from the USA ; We have played dozens and dozens of games with irritating Morays though.

it not only still comes off as 'snarky' but you come off as arrogant as well.

But it really is absurd to have your Manta on the ground for one action (Drop off troops), a mile off the ground for the next (Shoot over a building 75cm away), and then back on the ground to pick up troops for the next action.

Mantas are not giant yo-yos (A turn is meant to represent only 15 minutes!), and I wanted to say that in a non-aggressive manner, and I'm sorry if my attempt at a joke made me seem like a bad guy.

Well with the later revelation on the possible added complications of Dobbsy's rule, I say no change required.

The suggested modifications will only make turns take longer and add more points for dispute (well not with my opponents but it never occured to us to actually measure to see if a building is 10cm's tall... :glare: ).

Wow! how your words can be twisted to evil and chaos....  :glare:  

That was not my intention to have people measure to see if the feature was 10cm high.  :sulk:  I figured (wrongly I guess) that people would measure from the edge of the terrain rather than its height. I was thinking it would be a no-brainer because that's how it's done with the standard rule of 10cm in.... but I guess that simple really is not how the Epic community functions.   :sigh: How sad.
