Is it intentional that if you take a Large Harvester you can't take a Supreme Commander in a 3K game?
How well do the Necrons function w/o a Supreme Commander? Does the Abbatoir/Aeonic's ability compensate for not having a SC?

I can tell you it was definitely Corey's intention to have a large Harvester prohibit a SC. I have not played without a SC, but per Zombocom the list plays quite well without one. ePilgrim played without one on the previous version and won the game.
