Hi - I'm about to start painting up my ork horde so that I can finally start playing (they're the future opponents of my almost completed IG army).
As I'm a great big copycat I wonder if any of you would be kind enough to post any close up pics of your (or anyone else's you rate) ork infantry stands? I've seen some very nice army shots but none that really showcase infantry and that's what I'm going to tackle first.
Can anyone help?

Thanks L4, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Looking at these chaps I think I'll be painting at least one warband of Bad Moons.
Last night I started on a unit of trucks, I'll try and get some pics up when they're done -- probably in a week at the speed I paint!

Glad to Help ! I like my Orkses in more "earth tones", where my gaming bud 3rdI goes for more SM2 Orky colors. It's all good ! But of course, mine are more "camo'd" & hide better !

This was the stand I entered in the comp (I have done more since but they were for someone else and I don't have any good pics).

Wowzers! Onyx those are great. The boss on the boar is a great touch. I think I've got a few plastic boarboyz that I could use too, that may well be an idea that gets copied very soon...
@L4 - I think my Bad Moons will end up looking like a cross between your earthy tones and your friend's old school boyz. I'll probably aim for a more orangy colour for the armour (something like that used by George Dellapina on his 40K army).
