So what models did you get your hands on Doug? I picked up some Epic Lightning fighters, and they are going to be a real bitch to get all the flash off.
The picture I had of you Doug was a smallish guy with a bald head...how wrong was I!
That day I was up at 4.30AM. When I got back I was tired enough, so I then went to a party and had 5 pints! When I finally fell into bed I had been awake 18 and a half hours. And I had a full day of college today...
Cheers
Chris

Quote (darkone26 @ 15 2003 Sep.,21:26) | I had the following sets
2* ork armoured gunwagons 2* ork gunwagons with lobbas 2 * ork gunwagons with kannons 2 * ork gunwagons with zzap guns 2 * wave serpent with shurikan cannons 2 * wave serpent with bright lances 2 * wave serpent with star cannons 2 * wave serpent with scatter lasers 2 * wave serpent with missile launchers | 2 of everything huh? oh good... so one of each will be coming my way then... *attempts sweet innocent smile then gives up...* Worth the try.....
I got my hands on some more multi part marines (watch out for demonhunters squads from me in a couple of months time ) and one of the Harridans (fab model - if I get time it'll be in the site's competition..).
One point on the harridans - watch out when you put them together. You need to leave smal amounts of what I thought was more flash in order for the joints to match up neatly. I'll include a better description in my review & painting article as soon as I get around to writing them!

The FW Epic stuff does have a little flash I'm finding- the engines need a little 'peg' cutting off each of them- easy fortunately, and also on some of mine, there was a lump of flash between the engine and the main hull... my pin vice and small modelling knife were very handy indeed, and I still didn't manage to dig all of it out of the really tricky areas.. ?
-I'm still deciding what to do with my multi-part Marine I bought on a whim- maybe a little mini-diorama? ?

At least when I order my orks they are not expected to be perfectly formed - in fact might be able to pass of some of the flash as a design 'feature' :S.
