I've noticed that several of the lists found in the SG vault (Notably Tyranids and Necrons) are many versions behind those being tested here.

Champions (Or Neal, as you seem good at having your own caretaken lists updated there), bounce Andy H an Email to get them updated?

I think - taking the example of the Tau - most are trying to get a 'stable' version that can take 6 months of testing, rather than have a change every few weeks!

I do think that it depends on the changes made. The reason that the latest version of the Tau list (at this date) is not in the SG vault is because it was a departure in a couple of core areas, and I wanted to check it first. Also, some lists do go through a number of modifications in a short time.

That said, I do think that the lists should be updated with SG as often as is sensible, since it is one of the biggest indicators to the players that the game is still alive.

The Necron & Tyranid lists are heinously out of date, whilst the current versions here are undoubtedly more balanced.

I say get those updates sent to Andy!

Now that you mention it, where can i get the latest necron & tyranids lists? i own both armies and maybe i could help in it's development

I agree - how better to test whether new ideas will work than by getting them out there for people to play with!

Yup, no need to be selfish.

I met a player the other day who was convinced that Scarabs were still a template attack.
