Stunning work, Rats, especiallythe use of Warmaster bits and anything with a banner on it :) :) :)
Are those the fliers won for the Epic comp? :)

quite likely that one of them might be, I just chose the 2 out of my 6 which had the least problems with mold slip. :)

Wow..... that is really setting a standard to aspire towards.

Nice work Ratty I am feeling a whole lot of EA inspiration at the moment.

A very deserving winner by the looks of it. One of the finest Epic armies I've ever seen, if not the absolute best!

The base work just sets off the brilliant detail & lovely conversion work.

Absolutely Top Marks!

I don't think these photos even do it justice -  it was quite incredible. The painting standard was very high for most of the armies - as well as Mageboltrats I particularily liked one of the guard armies which had self-sculptd infantry.

Matt Otter has posted some photos of Mageboltrats guard and the self scuplted guard-

Along with Chris Steels very nice Chaos

A very impressive Ork horde

and his own very good Imperial Fists

yeah it was really nice, actually that guard army was the one I had down as my 1st choice when I accidently filled in the form early on (They later picked out a top 3 to chose from, so I had to reselect as it wasn't a choice). It wasn't the best painted of all the other armies, but there was so much conversion work it had guard snipers lying down with cloaks covering them and guardsmen rapeling down for valkaries, and the paint job definitely gave the feel that the guard should have, very dusty, stalingrad looking.

Coming from someone that does this for a living, that means something thanks. Already started on the next army, though it is again Nurgle, but this time LatD. At the moment I'm busy converting mutants which is really fun.

That thud you just heard was my jaw hitting the floor. Truly amazing army. That is definitely one of the best I've ever seen.

Wonderful work... I'm planning of using some warmaster models too (original epic tzeench horrors are too hard to find nowadays !).
The details on the bases are great, and my favorites are the titans.

Hey Mageboltrat, well done on winning the painting prize!   Very much deserved, it is an incredible army.  There are no superlatives to do it justice. Outstanding! :)
